Accessible Communication: Easy Read and Plain English

This years Disability Action Week theme is “accessible communication: connect, include and empower”.

In recognition of Disability Action Week, we’re excited to have Claire Mitchell, a passionate self-advocate with Down syndrome, here to explain how using Easy Read and Plain English can make information clear and accessible for everyone. Claire will walk us through the benefits of these communication styles and how they help people understand important information more easily.

Let’s join Claire to learn how we can all make a difference with accessible communication!
